They are putting the last nail in the coffenNow, I know that SciFi Channel hasn't been much of a SciFi Channel in the ten years. There is BSG and Eureka, Dr Who is great, but they just import it. Not much else and since BSG and Eureka are ending this year I see little hope. I still have BBC America, DVDs and torrents.
So "SyFy" will join TechTV (G4) and Speed Vision as fond memories of a time when someone was willing to cater to a niche market.
